Ryan Swafford graduated from the University of Florida with a dual-major of Economics and Political Science, cum laude. He earned his Juris Doctorate from Stetson University College of Law. There he focused on building his trial advocacy skills and honing his legal acumen. While in law school, he also worked as an assistant for Professors in Professional Responsibility and Construction Law, ultimately graduating cum laude. Ryan continued his record of honors by graduating from Stetson University College of Law, cum laude.

 After law school, Ryan began his legal career at the Public Defender’s Office in Tampa, Florida. There, he was given the opportunity to represent hundreds of criminal defendants and learned to appreciate the work and more importantly, the people involved in the cases. Every case, and every client, is different. This is why it is important to have a lawyer, like Ryan, who will focus on your particular circumstances and develop a strategy to obtain the best result for you.

Ryan has dedicated his career to helping individuals better navigate the legal system and fight for the life they have worked hard for. He will dedicate the hours needed and zealously represent each and every client. That is why he started Swafford Law Group, PA, to serve the people of the greater Tampa Bay Area through his professionalism, commitment, and skill. Since founding Swafford Law Group, PA, Ryan has represented hundreds more in a wide variety of matters, including criminal defense, personal injury, civil litigation, and construction law.

Attorney Jessica Silva is a Criminal Defense and Immigration Attorney in Tampa, Florida. Ms. Silva graduated with Honors (Cum Laude) from the University of Florida and obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Criminology and Law to aid with her eventual practice focus in Immigration and Criminal Law.

Ms. Silva then attended Stetson University College of law and Stetson University School of Business Administration where she simultaneously obtained her Juris Doctorate and her Master’s in Business Administration. During her time in law school, Ms. Silva studied at the prestigious Oxford University where she participated in a trial advocacy course in London, England. She also interned at an In-House Counsel Externship at Superior Uniform Group Inc. and interned at the Federal Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Florida for Chief Judge Williamson. Upon graduation from law school and the school of business Ms. Silva worked as a Criminal Defense Attorney at the Public Defender’s Office in Hillsborough County where she practiced in matters dealing with Misdemeanors and Felonies.

Her experience in criminal and immigration matters has also helped her narrow issues to successfully defend clients in criminal matters by advocating for dispositions that would reduce or negate the immigration consequences at hand.

Ms. Silva draws from her family history to fuel in her defense of immigrants.

Outside of work, Ms. Silva enjoys traveling and learning about varying cultures. She also enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends. She enjoys nature and outdoor activities.
